The County of Simcoe has developed a New Official Plan to guide our region into the future. 

Following months of consultation with our municipal partners, provincial ministry staff and members of the public, an updated version of the proposed New County of Simcoe Official Plan has been adopted by County Council.  The plan has been forwarded to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing (Municipal Services Office - Central Region) for review and approval. County Council has subsequently appealed the Ministry of Municipal Affairs & Housing's lack of decision to the Ontario Municipal Board.
